Clitheroe Kitchens
Made 20 Minutes Away, Fitted by the People Who Made Them
The Ribble Valley is stone cottages, converted barns, period farmhouses and a growing number of high-specification new builds. Older stone properties almost never have a square room, and they often have deep window reveals, thick walls and low beams that a catalogue kitchen simply cannot be made to fit. Barn conversions bring the opposite problem: very large rooms where standard cabinet heights look mean and a bespoke tall run or a proper island is needed to hold the space together.
This is the type of job where making our own cabinets matters most. When a run has to stop at 1,847mm because of a stone reveal, we build a carcass at 1,847mm rather than fitting a 1,800mm unit and filling the rest with a strip of matching board. It costs no more, because we are the factory.

I had an extension to my house and contacted Prestige Cabinets for my kitchens and fitted wardrobes. From the very first contact I made to arrange a visit to completing the installation of the kitchens and wardrobes, they have over exceeded expectations. During the extension, I had several contractors working on my house, but I can honestly say that Prestige Cabinets were simply the best in the positive experience I had, the quality of product and their professionalism. They were friendly, flexible and a pleasure to work with. Since my installation, I have recommended them to all my family and friends many of whom have used them and are equally impressed. This review is my way of thanking them for their work, craftsmanship and for providing the best customer service in my experience.

Common Questions
Questions We Get From Clitheroe
Do you work on period and stone properties in the Ribble Valley?
Yes, and they are some of our favourite jobs. Because we manufacture our own carcasses we can build to an awkward reveal or an out-of-square wall rather than filling the gap with a panel.
Can you match a kitchen to a barn conversion or an extension?
We can. Larger rooms usually need taller cabinets and a properly proportioned island to look right, and we build to whatever dimensions the room actually needs rather than to standard sizes.
Which door ranges suit a Ribble Valley cottage?
Timber in-frame and painted shaker ranges tend to sit best in period stone properties. We have twenty ranges and over eighty colours to look through, and there is no extra charge for choosing a painted finish over a standard one.
